Title: Lab 61 Dimensions?
Post by: jamusic1983 on June 01, 2012, 08:18:49 pm
Hello,

Can anyone give me the true dimensions of the Lab 61?

I didn't see them listed in the specs on the product page, and there are conflicting ones around the internet.

Thank you,

Jim

According to Thomann = (BxHxT): 881 x 70 x 245 mm

Yes, I saw that when I went searching, but 70 mm = just 2.76 inches high.

Maybe for the body, but I don't think that covers the knobs height as well.

Another site had it at 4.4 inches, which is much more believable.

As I said, there are conflicting measurements all over the web.

Too bad Arturia doesn't say.

You'd think they'd include it on the Spec. Tab page like on the 49.

But thanks for your reply.

Jim -

The 2.76" for total height (including knobs) was about right.  The knobs add about 5/8" to the height.  I recently picked up the Lab 61 and have a very tight desktop drawer I had to fit it into.  Total height of my drawer is 3 1/4" .  The Laboratory 16 slides in, with about 3/8" to spare (measuring from the top of the drawer, down to the top of the knobs).  I just held up a tape and verified this..
