Title: Does the iLok work as the Dongle for the 49 Lab?
Post by: laker26 on December 21, 2011, 01:18:07 am
Does the iLok work as the Dongle for the 49 Lab or do I have to get a second USB dongle.  If not... stupid Pro Tools... I don't even use Pro Tools anymore.

Thanks!! ;D

A little research answered my own question.  Kinda a bummer that I will eventually have to get a second dongle but good to know that it doesn't look like it's rocket science to transfer the license.  Good to know that I don't have to buy the dongle right away (money is tight) but I wish there was one unified system >:(... I'm guessing I'm not the 1st person to express that.  I'm excited to get my grubby fingers on this not so little Lab.  Game on!

If you don't intend to use AL on different computers then you don't have to put the license key on an USB stick. The eLicenser software keeps it on your harddisc.
