Title: Routing to garageband in standalone V collection

Running on Mac os 10.6  mac book pro the V collection2. I use garageband for demoing and I dont want to use as plugin within gb.I want to use the standalone of the synths for on the fly tweaking to go to a track in gb. Presently just using the usb plug. I have 2 usb ports available and I need both..one to power and one for the dongle. What is the solution to use as standalone but signal through to a track in gb? Should I get a usb hub and try to run my line 6 ux2 as well? Hope someone can give me a hint on how to make this work. thanks!
