Title: CS-80V 1.1 demo crashes
Post by: Anonymous on April 07, 2004, 06:39:30 am
CS-80V consistently crashes both Sonar and Cubase if I try to play the
"J.M.B. Big Phazin" patch.  There are a few other patches that will sometimes do this but this patch will crash my hosts every time.

I'm *very* impressed with the sound of CS-80V but I'm not willing to buy it if it's this unstable.

So - Arturia has nothing to say about this?

Disappointing - the sound is amazing but the software isn't usable.

I've narrowed the problem down slightly.  CS-80 seems pretty stable if I run at 44k sample rate.  If I try 88.2 or 96k sample rate the J.M.B. Phazin patch will nuke it every time.  I hope that helps.

Just got a message from Xavier saying this is caused by a bug triggered by combining delay effects with a change in frequency and that it should be fixed in the update.  Good news!
