Title: 'Cannot execute binary file' error message
Post by: Mr Roberto on July 31, 2010, 06:32:28 pm
Hey folks,

I'm trying to install MiniMg V on my iMac and when I click on the MiniMg V Set-up Mac icon, a Terminal box with the following message appears:

Last login: Sat Jul 31 17:46:57 on ttys000
rob-holmess-imac:~ robholmes$ /Users/robholmes/Desktop/miniMg\ V\ Setup\ Mac ; exit;
-bash: /Users/robholmes/Desktop/miniMg V Setup Mac: cannot execute binary file
logout

[Process completed]

Nothing happens and I can't continue with the installation.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi Roberto,

Please make sure to install directly from the latest updates, *in this strict order*:
1. MiniMg V ==> http://www.arturia.com/updates
2. eLicenser Control Center ==> http://www.elicenser.net/en/latest_downloads.html

Hope this will help,

Cheers,

Denis

Thank Denis, but still no joy.

I'm trying to install a fairly old version of the MiniMg software and my licence number is only 16 digits however the eLicenser is asking for a 32 digit number before I can proceed with set-up.

I don't have the Syncrosoft activation code. Is that the problem?

Hi, Denis. Sorted it now. Hadn't completed the initial registration and now have the full code. Thanks for your help  ;D
