Title: V Collection
Post by: DRF on March 21, 2010, 12:56:39 pm
Hello!

Am I to assume the V Collection is discontinued?

Are we to expect a new similar package to be released soon?

What gives you this impression? I did not hear about that, and the pack is still in the shop (http://www.arturia.com/evolution/store/index.php?language=en).

Still... after adding to the cart this warning comes up:

Products marked with *** are not available in the quantity you requested.
This product can not be back ordered online, you can not proceed with checkout unless you remove this item from the cart
Please check the availability with partner resellers.
Thank you

Well, I heard the V-Collection 2 should be available for delivery end of next week only.

Antoine is there any difference between the V Collection v1 and v2?

I can update the software from version 1 to bring it up to date with version 2 (free of cost) right?

DRF,
software-wise V-Collection2 is the same as V-Collection1 with all the new updates.
V-Collection included MgModularV2, MiniMgV, ARP2600V, CS-80V, Prophet V and Jupiter-8V.
V-Collection2 includes MgModularV2.5, MiniMgV2, ARP2600V2, CS-80V2, Prophet V2 and Jupiter-8V2, all available as free updates to registered users.

The only other difference is that V-Collection came on 6 individual CDs in the box, whereas V-Collection2 comes on a single DVD, with added bonus content, such as 2-week trial versions of Brass2 and Analog Factory 2.5, product info and videos of Origin, etc.
