Title: Computer time zone ?
Post by: eray on November 12, 2009, 08:16:54 am

the process of upgrading to Mg Modular V 2,5 is being interrupted by a dialog box  that tells me to check my computer's time zone and change it if i need to.

     what does that mean ?

i did follow the instructions : installed the software, restarted my computer, entered the activation code. i repeated these steps a couple of times. i might have tried to launch the software in between, unfortunately. i hope it did not crash.

    anyone can help ?

On your Mac (presuming you're on Mac), go to System Preferences, check the Timezone is correct, synchronize your system date & time with an NTP server near your location, and the problem should solve at next startup.
Then, use the occasion to download and install the latest eLCC (http://www.elicenser.net/en/latest_downloads.html).
This should run without a glitch now.

NTP (Network Time Protocol): use one among the suggested Apple servers, or add your favorite server there. I you don't see what I mean, choose the Apple one.  ;)

     hi, it's me again. :)

this time i am installing the software on my computer at work.

i open the e-licenser control panel, and guess what : there is no description on buttons. not a single word, text, etc. so i only have my senses and former experiences as i follow the instructions. :) i click on right buttons at the right steps but it does not work : authorization process freezes after a couple of minutes, then stops without a success.

so what should i do ? something wrong with my pc? ( intel core 2 cpu, 6700@2.66 GHz, 3.00 GB RAM, XP Pro )

or is it wrong to install the software on another computer ?
