Title: crash @ windows7 x64
Post by: b-szczesny on November 02, 2009, 08:13:18 pm
I have two computers running Windows 7 x64 RC. Turning "ammount" knob on prophet vs zenny_1 and some other patches ALWAYS crashes the software (both - standalone and vsti). Does anybody else experiences this? Is there a possibility that installing new windows7 changes anything?

The crash occurs at both computers (one is hp nx7400 with core2 duo 1,83, the other one is a pc with core2 duo 2,16) and any sample rate. Some other patches from prophet vs and prophet 5 also crash the synth when turning "mod" knob.

I`ve installed Windows 7 Enterprise build 7600.16385.090713. First preset from prophet immediately crashed the application when clicked on "ammount" knob.

Me too.  Windows 7, X64, crashes most times I turn the LFO amount knob, regardless of the patch.  Sometimes it causes a constant tone to be output even after the crash, requiring a reboot to get rid of it.  Pretty frustrating when working on a project.

It would be nice to hear from Arturia on this, although I'm sure it will be something along the lines of "Arturia Analog Factory does not officially support the Windows 7 operating system".

Its actually kind of funny, one of the reasons I decided to upgrade to an i7 machine was because I thought the power would help run analog factory better and reduce the crashes/bugs!
