Greetings,
I have enjoyed using Jupiter 8 for about 2 weeks and for some reason today upon launching logic I receive the error "eLicenser contains no valid license for this application" and then Logic proceeds to crash. Nice. Also does not work in standalone mode. I have read the previous similar sounding issues on this forum but nothing has helped. I have:
1. Rebooted
2. Unplugged and plugged the dongle back in again
3. Reinstalled Syncrosoft License Control ( >:( ) with the dongle unplugged and replugged.
Always the same result: the USB dongle shows nothing under its Key number in the License Control window where previously all arturia products would show either active or inactive status, essentially it appears the dongle is empty.
My presumption is I would need a new activation code sent to me and try to re-authorize.
I have contacted technical support and am awaiting their response but thought I'd post here in case any other users experienced this "temporary authorization" malfunction. :o
Also, anyone know if TimeMachine would actually back up the dongle????
(running Logic 8.0.2 on Intel MAC Quad-Core 2.8GHz with 8Gigs RAM, License Control 5.4.14.3 and trying to run whatever is the latest available version of Jp8)
Thanks for reading

Handled through the regular Technical Support way.

I just got this problem as well. I wish the solution would have been posted. Anyway, if there is any one out there who has a solution to this please let me in on it. I'd love to be able to use my software this weekend. Thanks.

I had this happen with the Prophet V. I unplugged the dongle when I was going away for a while. When I came back I plugged the dongle in and there was no license on it.
I tried system restore and it worked. The license reappeared on my dongle and evrything was fine.
So now I don't unplug the dongle and I guess I'll be sure to create a restore point when I do just to be safe.
Obviously I have a PC with Windows so I don't know if this works with Macs.

Thanks for the advice. Tried this but no dice. I tried a few different restore points but nothing took.

I still haven't received any support via tech support as well as this forum. Do the mods even read this forum? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

I've got the same problem. Went away for 4 day hols, loaded up Logic and no licenses for either of my Jupiter 8 or Analogue Factory ??? >:(. This seems to be a growing problem....? I've contacted the helpdesk and still nothing. I've tried downloading the latest LCC software and restoring an earlier version on my Mac, but nothing works :'(!!!!!!!

Hopefully everybody with this problem voices their displeasure so at some point the problem can be fixed. We can't even get a hold of tech support. Must be some vacation!

@everyone
Make sure to install the latest License Control Center, then plug your potential dongle, launch the LCC (from the Applications folder, or Start menu, depending on your OS), and check licenses are up and activated.
If not, please post a Tech Support request from your Arturia account. If already done, a reply shall come soon (yes, really).

Hallelujah! I'll try that when I get home and my tech support request has been in for awhile. Thanks for responding.

Tried what you suggested and I'm seeing that no licenses are found on my dongle. I'll await the tech support reply. Thanks for trying.
