After updating the MiniMg from 1.6 to 2.0, when I try to instantiate it in PTLE 8.0cs2 I get this message:
The plug-in could not be made active because a DAE error was encountered (#-7054).
Any ideas?
MiniMgV 2 is working fine as a standalone and also works in Digital Performer 5.13
My system: G5 Dual 2.0, 2.5 GB RAM, OS 10.5.6

Sounds like a bad PT wrapper.
Make sure the 'miniMg V.dpm' is the correct version (check the creation date), if any doubt just delete it and reinstall the MiniMg-V 2.0, shall solve it all.

Thanks, Antoine.
I think you meant the 'version', not the creation date. ;-)
I found three miniMg V plugs in the Pro Tools plug-in folder:
1. miniMg V.dpm - version 2.0
2. miniMg V.dpma - version 1.61
3. miniMg V (Automap).dpm - version 1.0
I removed 2 & 3, and that solved the problem.
#3 is a version created by Novation's Automap software to use with their Nocturn plug-in controller.
But what is #2? What's the difference between dpm and dpma?
Thanks again.

I've done all this and it still does the same thing.

Posted this at the DUC also, but if anyone else has this problem here is what to do.
-GO to your PT plug-ins folder (in your Digi application folder there is an alias to it).
-check the MiniMg V version you have in there (i still had the older V1.6, even after installing the new MM package).
-Remove old version from Plug-ins folder
-re-install MiniMg V package.
-You should now see the new 2.0 version in your plug-in folder, and the MiniMg should now open in PT.

Joel, I've tried this a few times, but when I reinstall from my disc and then re-run the V2 update, I'm still seeing the 1.6 version in there. Any ideas?
Ta!

On Mac OS X, do not let the 1.6 CD in your machine when upgrading to 2.0, or the system will rather use the CD installer, for unknown reason.
