Title: is there any file uploading happening?

I see an announcement April 2004 that file uploading has been enabled. Where exactly did this happen, and is it still going on in 2007 ?
I've searched around on the forum, can't actually find it.

I haven't even found a comment from Vincent about it.  I'd guess it's safe to assume it's dead and buried.

ok, what's involved with re-enabling it? I'd volunteer to dry run the process and document whatever would be of help.
I'd be saving them in whatever format gets exported from Intel mac. I'm unaware if there are any differences between windows and mac os exports...is it much the same file/format?
Any thoughts?
