Hi. I just installed Jupiter-8V on my PC. Its output is noisy -- kind of like static -- only when it's playing. I have tried adjusting output levels and the audio buffer size to no avail. My other Arturia instruments (CS-80V, MiniMgV, Prophet V) work just fine. Here are the details on my machine:
Processor Intel Pentium 4 650 Model BX80547PG3400F 3.4GHz Prescott 800MHz FSB LGA 775 EM64T Processor
HSF/CPU Cooler Zalman CNPS7000B-AlCu LED Fan/Heatsink
Motherboard Intel D945PVS Integrated audio/video/LAN
Memory Crucial BL2KIT12864AA663 2GB kit (1GBx2) 2GB (1GB x 2)
Hard Drive 1 Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 ST3250824AS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s
Hard Drive 2 Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 ST3250824AS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s
Optical Drive Plextor 716SA DVD +RW
Operating System Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Thanks!

Hello,
what kind of noise do you have? could you record it?
-
I installed 1.0.3 and the noise disappeared. My soundcard is an E-mu 1820m/1010. Apparently this has been a common issue. Thanks!

I too am having the problem with the noisy output. I installed the 1.0.3 patch and I still have the problem. I is a static type sound. I have also tried changing buffer sizes to no avail. I have no problem with other soft-synths.
My system is a dell D600, 1.8GHz, 2GB RAM and configurted to run soft synths (No unnecessary software or services load). I am using a CHO Indigo IO sound card.
Thanks!

I get the same problem, static kind of noise. Not on the stand-alone application. Only when running VST. Any suggestions?

Hi, my V collection just arrived and everything works fine except there is a horrible static-like noise / charge when i play every patch in the jupiterv. How can I get rid of it?
I have a powerful PC windows XP 3.4 the soundcard is a yamaha motif keyboard wired up to computer via MLAN. everything else works except this horrible noise. Please advise, it's getting me down.
thanks

I had the same problem. Switching from ASIO output to WAV output has resolved the noise issue. It sill, obviously, needs a permanent fix from Arturia.

I just bought this product this morning, and it sounds lovely in Stand-Alone, but when I load it as a VST, it sounds all muddy and stadicy. I wish I would've read this board first. Would've saved myself $220 bucks.
Where can I download the 1.03 patch? Maybe that will help.
