Hello, I'm hoping that this is a relatively common issue with laptops. I've been using CS-80v for a while and have found that it crashes frequently, both standalone and as a plugin in Cubase SE3.
Most notably if the GUI is dragged there is a static white noise burst before the computer freezes.
In Cubase it would crash if the mouse pointer was over the transport bar.
However I started the laptop on battery power last night and CS-80v works perfectly - 2 hours with no problems whatsoever.
I'm using a Novation X Station, powered by Fujitsu Siemens Amlo Pi1536.
I tried the Speedswitch thing but this made no difference to the noise.
Can anyone provide an insight into why this might be happening.
