Title: BUG: MIDI CC 113 (value ranges and kind of 'interaction' with CC 107)
Post by: FiltroAnalogico on January 22, 2014, 04:17:05 pm
Hi there,
I mapped almost all CCs for MicroBrute over my BCF2000 and, while I did not experience the bug on CC 111 described in this topic: http://www.arturia.com/evolution/smf/index.php?topic=14694.0 (but I'll check again), I found a smiliar one related to CC 113 "Gate lenght".

Ranges described in the manual are: 0 to 41 = Short, 42 to 83 = Med, 84 to 127 = Long.

Mapping this CC over the BCF2000 I found that the actual ranges are:
42 to 83 = Short,
84 to 125 = Med,
126 to 127 = Long,
while values between 0 and 41 seem to set the Seq Step Size (CC 107) to half of it's current setting (e.g. CC 107 originally set to /16, sending CC 113 in range 0-41 changes Step Size to /8) ...or something like that  ???.

You are right !!
I told Bruno about it. It's now a referenced bug.
Thanx
