Title: Arturia Microbrute Synth Demo
Post by: Biome Digital on December 17, 2013, 11:18:57 am
Demo of the Arturia Microbrute Analogue Synth. Testing the multimode filter, distortion, envelope & modulations. Made this as soon as I got mine to see what it could do.

I have this noise problem too.

Going from output of micro to input of MOTU ultralite mk3, which is connected via firewire to my Macbook Pro.

When I connect the Micro using USB i get very bad noise. Tried other USB cables, same problem.

Never had this issue with my Mopho.

Arturia, do you have a solution to this or is it a design flaw?

Brian

There is a known problem with USB and audio noise on the Macbook Pro. See this as just one example of many: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2270209 It usually comes down to a ground loop problem.  One thing to try is to use a power strip and plug the Macbook and the synth into it.
