Title: Why isn't this backwards compatible?

Why isn't the new MCC compatible with saved files from any of the previous Midi control centres? i.e, the Spark and the Analog Laboratory 61.

For most controllers there's an easy way to get your previous MIDI configurations in the new MCC:
- With the old MCC, send your configuration to the controller
- Open the new MCC and press 'Recall'

Unfortunately this doesn't work for Spark because the 'Recall' option is not available.

This is what I alluded to in an earlier post but didn't receive any replies. Thanks.
Is there anyway of converting the Spark files, by using XML for example?

There is no way of converting the Spark files at the moment.
