Title: Hz/Oct Upgrade for Microbrute
Post by: telekolleck on December 05, 2013, 11:19:46 am
Hi.
Is there any chance for an upgrade which features Hz/Oct.
My Yamaha CS - 15 is begging for one.

Best Regards

You mean Hz/V :) And Arturia would have to change the design of the MicroBrute's circuitry.

Teenage Engineering's Oplab will convert V/octave to Hz/V

there is a eurorack module by the harvestman called the english tear (http://postmodular.co.uk/harvestman/english-tear) which can convert between hz/v and v/oct, and between s-trig and v-trig in both direction. this should be a good translator between your brute and your cs.

or if you prefer overpriced vintage gear, the korg ms-02 (http://www.cykong.com/Synths/Korg%20MS-02/KorgMS-02.htm) will do the same...
