				Hello,

I'm using the 'latest beta' (1.6.1 build 180) and Controller v1.1.2.2, osx 10.8.now, Spark Standalone.  When I input non standard characters like é, ç. using a USA English standard mac keyboard. 3 things happen.

 1) the font used in the 'application' level (load/save dropdowns, Project Name dialog, etc, the top bar of the plugin) doesn't display characters in a readable manner, might be using its own characters, might be a rendering bug?  It just doesn't look right.

 2) the CDM Plugin Display (the representation of the hardware display in the software plugin) doesn't display the non-standard characters at all.

 3) the CDM Hardware itself displays whatever characters were last displayed before loading the string with nonstandard characters when it encounters them. ie: load project abc123, load new project abcééé, CDM hardware displays: abc123

It's been noted that the forthcoming v1.7 will include a new browser for Project/Kit/Insrtuments. I hope this helps inform that effort.

 thanks,

				Hi Robert,
 thanks for the report.
Can you tell me where do you input this?
Is it from the "Save As" panel?

Yes, but I'd expect it'll be anywhere a user can input txt, like renaming a sample or adding the author to a Project, or anywhere else planned or unplanned.

 hope this helps,
