Title: "copy modulation to"
Post by: ian halsall on June 03, 2023, 01:31:25 am
I would have thought that if you do this from lfo1 to lfo2 it would copy the shape, frequency and destination but it doesn't.

It just seems to copy the destination but retains the original lfo frequency and shape.

What am I doing wrong?

thx

Hello,

I would have thought that if you do this from lfo1 to lfo2 it would copy the shape, frequency and destination but it doesn't.
What have made you think that?
It's the modulations you handle. It's ie not a copy LFO settings to another LFO. The destinations you can move or copy to is not only LFO's.

I thought my use case would be 9perhaps more) useful - I can see that both functions will be helpful but copying lfo settings to another lfo can be very time consuming (I suppose you can save the lfo and load it on another one) so that is what I was looking for.

Thanks

The menu that contains the "mute all, unmute all" etc. should probably be a right click in the modulation source header.

I think that's more a feature request to ie also be able to copy one LFO's settings to another. I would like that too.
It's ie possible to do so with some settings for the Functions allready.

Also the header menu is a feature request.

I suggest you post a feature request, if you wan't this.

Agreed - it's a feature request.

this is probably a feature request too: "show all destinations that have modulators" - with a colour or maybe a dot in the middle of the destination knob

you can kind of work it out because the knobs are moving but it doesn't "jump out at you" this way and some modulations don't start until the sequencer starts or are linked to external controllers
