I want the ability to have the step sequencer of the Keystep Pro (KP) send triggers (as I have been doing with
my 606) to the ext clk in of my sh101. unfortunately the 606 needs a repair so i'm wondering how to trigger the sequencer in the same way.
i tried linking the 1/8" drum gate #1 out to the gate in of the 101 and setting up a 16 step loop in "track 1" in the KP which is in "seq" mode rather than "drum" mode.
then loaded the same note over 16 steps in the 101's sequencer. I get nothing. I know i'm missing something simple. deeper menu diving couldn't rly
identify the issue either.
Was wondering if anyone could help
