Hi,
Very strange issue, so hopefully I’ll be able to explain it properly.
Setup:
- keystep over usb used as midi input on ableton
- midi thru enabled on keystep using the midi control centre
- midi thru connected to my synth (vermona perforumer)
- synth configured as midi channel 1
- in a midi track on ableton, the input is the keystep on midi channel 1, and the output is set to the keystep over the same midi channel
- on the keystep I change the midi channel to 1 and start playing.
Playing single keys on the keystep is fine, synth reacts and plays. Playing multiple keys at the same time is also fine. However if I switch the keystep to chord mode and press a key the keystep crashes with the sound of multiple note’s playing randomly, it sounds like there is some kind of feedback issue.
I don’t think this is an issue with the ableton configuration as it only happens when the keystep is in chord mode.
Has anyone experienced this?
