Title: Bypass gate for CV sequences?

Hello all,

Can anyone help me figure out how to change a note value on a step but bypass the gate? Basically, I want to tie two different notes together, and I don't want a gate to trigger my envelope, I want the note to move up to the next value without affecting amplitude on all new notes (trying to make some acid bass lines).

I imagine there must be info about this in the manual or elsewhere on the forum boards, but despite a lot of time searching I've come up dry. Can anyone offer some guidance?
