Title: Disable waveform graphics

I noticed when comparing 2 pc's that the one with an old graphics card (radeon HD3450) does not display the moving waveforms (which is fine by me) but and that is interesting that on that computer minifreak uses much less cpu then on the one which does display the graphics. I mean much less, like less then half. So my question, could we disable the waveform graphics on purpose to save cpu cycles. For the rest these computers are identical!

GPU usage for that kind of show is not needed.
Please allow to choose simplified UI.
