Title: No sound through polybrute headphone jack
Post by: arturiapolynowork on September 25, 2022, 10:57:01 am
Hi

New here. Just bought polybrute. I have

Installed arturia instrument center
Updated firmware and unlock the keyboard
Got polybrute connect on
Tuned

But no sound.
I know the Jack is working because I heard small tones during tuning
Yet still no sound

Any advice? Or is it broken. I’m thinking 99% I’m doing something crazy

Really appreciate any advice! Here’s a picture in case I have a volume down or something!
Many thanks here a picture tell me if I am doing something mental ha. I don’t really want to connect to my audio interface rn just do some playing about on the keyboard.

There is nothing special about it. No hidden parameters or anything - its just the Phones volume...

It could be a connector has come loose during transport, or something else easily fixed like that. I recommend opening a ticket with Arturia support, or if the shop will let you do a swap, that might be the fastest way of getting you a PB with a working Phones output.

Ok thanks so much
I’m actually not getting any output sound either through an amp so I’m truly lost rn.

I just managed to get the record blips going through an amp and headphones so it just seems to be I have no effects working in the device.

You mean the metronome?

AFAIK, it's generated by the FX section, so if you get the metronome, but not the synth sound, that might point to a lost connection (or other fault) between the synth and the FX section. Definitely get in touch with Arturia support, unless you get a quick swap from the shop.
