Title: Secret Arp mode
Post by: cfremuth@me.com on May 13, 2022, 10:33:11 pm
Hi everyone ,

I just got my KS 37 today and a strange but beautiful thing happened. When i turned the Arp on for the first time the mode was like this:
if i played C-E-G with HOLD on, the Arp would play just these notes, but then i pressed ONLY B and the Arp would Play B-E-G in stead of  B-B-B..., then i pressed D and D-E-G in stead of  D-D-D-D... and so on and so forth, like if it only changed the Root-note but the "harmony" stayed the same... I have never seen this in a Arpeggiator and i have read through the whole manual and cant seem to find how this happened and also can’t seem to find it!!! Can anybody please help?

Thanks in advance.

Chris

It sounds like you're transposing the arp?

Hi Chris,

if I get you right, in ARP mode (not SEQ), with hold and play, CEG will arp CEG according to chosen arp mode.
Then when you hit B (still in play and hold), you don't get BBB?
In these precise settings, I only get BBB. I'm probably missing something.
