Title: Alternate Tuning Standards, Non-Western Scales & Temperaments
Post by: cybermaster on May 02, 2022, 04:41:09 pm
I would love to see an easy way to set different tuning standards across all the V Collection instruments. For example, if I were doing a piece and wanted to use 432Hz tuning standard, I would like to be able to manually set each instrument to be in tune with 432Hz simply by typing that into a "tuning" field.

It would also be very valuable to have the ability to set the temperament to something other than the typical piano equal tempered tuning. Non-Western intervals and scales would be very welcome!

Yep, I've posted about this ad nauseam, including here:

So many universal features have been added to most if not every plugin, like undo/redo, tutorials, MTS-ESP microtuning support, but there's still no universal way to change the diapason. Every Plugin Alliance synth has a master tuning control on the bar at the top of the interface. It's kind of ridiculous that we need to ask for it.
