Title: External clock/midi in

Can I clock in from my dr110 drum machine, sync Ableton, then send midi over USB from Ableton back out over CV gate to my old Moog Realistic?

I seem to get one or the other, not both.
Either it clocks Ableton (one dip up, one dip down)
Or it plays midi from Ableton (both dip down)

How do I do both at the same time?

I have read the manual front and back, can't get it figured.
