Title: keystep pro - ableton sync

hey there

does anyone know the trick to use the start and stop knobs on the keystep pro to control these functions in ableton?
at the moment i'm only able to map midi notes to do the trick but it is not ideal for my situation.

any idea on how to set-up the keystep pro and ableton in order to make this work?

Maybe there is a way, but I haven't figured it out.
