Title: Cannot activate PolyBrute Connect SOLVED
Post by: flexionmusic on November 26, 2021, 05:48:46 pm
I have just installed the newest version of PBC and the instrument is switched on and connected to teh computer.

When I launch PBC, it says that the software is not activated and that I have to sigh in with my Arturia account.

When I do this, it says: "failed to sign in, please retry". The name and password are correct and work to enter the Arturia website itself.

What am I doing wrong?

I was puzzled by the same thing, it seemed the login via the polybrute connect software just didnīt work. What worked for me was to just open arturia software center whereupon the polybrute connect software was automatically activated. then i just opened polybrute connect it worked.

Thanks Cpt, but you must have also done something else... I open the MIDI Control Center, even connect with my KeyStep, open PBC but no, it still asks for activation. And that doesn't work.

Any more ideas anybody  :)

And, why do I have to activate a software that is completely useless if you don't have a PolyBrute???

did you try the "synchronize" button in software control center?

And I agree, having any kind of DRM on this software is pointless and only serves to cause problems.

Stupid, stupid... I was using the MIDI Control Center and it should have been the Arturia Software Center.

In the ASC I activated the PBC and presto, the software is activated!
