Title: Assigning Midi cc doesn't work
Post by: Musicmind on August 17, 2021, 05:00:13 pm
Hi
Longtime user here.
Why can't I suddenly not assign a MIDI CC to any controller on the MM V3?
Is it broken?

Hi,

It work.

The Midi assigment is moved to the sidepanel, if that's what you mean.

Click the workwheel beside the "Advanced" button in the top right of the application to open the sidepanel. Then click the MIDI page.

If it's something else you mean, then please add more informations about, what you are doing and how.

No!
I know it has been moved. I have used Arturia since ver. 2. It works perfectly on ARP 2600 V3.
I open the VI. I click on the wheel, hit MIDI and "learn" click on the button: Volume that turns red. Then I move my expression pedal connected to my Yamaha S90ES, which works on ALL other devices and THEN the knob is supposed to move, indicating that a connection is established. Nothing happens.

Expression pedal midi CC#11 has allways been used in Mini Vs modulation Matrix. So if your Expression pedal use the normal midi CC#11, then that's why you can't midi learn it. Use the modulation matrix for this.

you can read about reserved midi CCs in Arturias manuals.
