Title: What Drum Options Are Compatible The Gate Outs?

I'm using sequencers 1 and 2 for midi devices, Volcas to be precise, and I also want to hear some drums.  If I midi out to a third device, they don't all play.  So I guess I need a drum machine or module with gate inputs.  What are the reasonable options?  Can I just send the gates out to triggers?  I just want a decently priced option, kind of don't even care about sound quality.  I just want to hear drums and two synths all at the same time.
