This one is a long shot, I guess this will be impossible due to the internal structure, but worth a try anyway. Would it be possible to swap the routing of the filters? This way, when using serial routing, the sound would pass through Ladder first and then Steiner. Ladder can track pitch more accurately and is better for self oscillation, then the Steiner can filter that outcome (which is a more flexible filter)
