Title: Saving Arpeggios On Power Off
Post by: Octavian on January 23, 2021, 09:53:42 pm
Request was logged by Leo on Jan 21st, posting here for emphasis

Requesting the ability to save Arpeggios into Track sequence slots, for recall on power up.

ALSO, requesting the ability to place Arpeggios into Scenes and Chains (Chained Arps would start and stop at the same time as Sequence Tracks)

Thanks!

Arpeggios DO get saved with scenes. (Might have to have 'hold' turned on)

On 1.3.7 build 745 I am not able to save arpeggio, I tried saving everything Project, Scene and after rebooting unit there are no notes selected in the arpeggio (although the tracks remembers arp / seq selection). Can you tell the exact steps to save arpeggio notes with Project / Scene?

Well SHIT!!
You are indeed correct. I just tried, and it is NOT saving the arpeggio. It's not even remembering that Hold was turned on.
Huh. ... I freakin SWEAR that was working before.  :-[

Maybe it was, mine unit came with 1.3.7 so I don't know previous firmwares. What is the best way to report bug request to Arturia so it would be looked into?

Write to support through their homepage.  They are pretty good at responding.  At least Leo was, for me.

I just tried this and it didn't work on the latest firmware 1.3.7. Saved an arpeggio into a Pattern slot on Track 2, then saved the Scene. Changed Patterns and changed back to make sure that the arpeggio was still there, but then after power cycling the Arpeggio was gone

Yeah. In a followup post I said it's not actually working here, tho I swear it did in the past.
Hopefully this gets fixed.
