Title: MCC very very slow to load

Microfreak owner her, great little synth and firmware support is fantastic! But...As the title says, MCC takes minutes to load. Only version 1.09 loads in a few seconds, but that version is not useful any more with the increased preset numbers on the microfreak. 1.10-13 load extremely slow.

Are you on a hard drive or SSD? The unfortunate reality these days is software is just not designed to run from creaky old hard drives.

SSD and it is dependent on the version. 1.09 was fine and maybe 1.12 (or was it 11) too. 1.13 is very bad again. If I look at windows taskmanager it is just sitting there doing nothing for a few minutes before it appears.
No cpu or SSD activity at all. Come to think of it, I am firewalled on my DAW PC. Maybe it is waiting in vain for a online reply. Maybe Arturia can confirm this?

I can confirm. I'm working on an nvme, so it's not the speed of the drive. It's the software.
