Title: MCC crash on launch

Been looking for solutions to this and tried everything thats already been posted for the last year relating to it not launching (removed external hard drive usb, fresh install, reboot, run as admin). MCC will not launch, just immediately crashes. I even tried older install versions. My OS is win7 and this is the info on the crash.

any ideas? trying to update microfreak firmware so i can use vocoder

Welcome.

Maybe update your OS, Windows 7 is antique and obsolete. The software may say suitable for Win 7+ but if your problem is being caused by an issue specific to your installation of Win 7 it's not ever going to get patched because Microsoft don't support Win 7 any longer, so stalemate.

sadly an os update is not an option for me at the moment. should be compatible with my system.

It's an obvious point, but it will crash (here) if any audio application is open - for example a sequencer or standalone instrument.
