The Arturia Keystep Pro with the the current firmware 1.3.2 installed appears to not correctly handle the "wait load" setting when switching scenes. When set to switch after 1 bar, it instead switches part way through the bar as demonstrated in this video:

My assumption here is that the KSP is not aware of the selected time division for the bar and always defaults to 1/16 which makes it problematic for use in a live performance.
