Looks like 1.3.1 has introduced a new bug where the Keystep Pro will create phantom bars in a pattern:

All visual indications are that the pattern is 1 bar long but the behaviour is that it plays every 4 bars.
Manually changing the pattern length appears to have no effect.
My guess is that this is related to the MCC corrupting backups as this was one of the projects I had previously attempted to restore that behaved as if it was an initialized, empty project.
I next tried adding drums and the KSP refused to record any steps. While trying to understand what was happening, I pressed a step and noticed the display indicated I was at the maximum 192 steps per pattern. This is despite the drum pattern not playing anything nor visually showing any notes recorded. After erasing the drum pattern it appeared to behave correctly.
