Title: Receiving Program Change
Post by: jojpeg on July 28, 2020, 11:22:56 am
Hey Friends.
I was searching a bunch and only found a small hint that the KSP reacts to programchange messages but no info in which way. I'd like to buy one but receiving pc is essential for my setup. Can anyone tell me in wich way the KSP reacts to PC messages eg does it change patterns/chains or projects or even sequences?  ???

Thanks in advance for your help

Hello.

KSP can receive Program changes.

- Sending program changes on the Controller mode channel changes the projects.

- Sending program changes on the track's midi channels changes the track's pattern.

I hope that it helps :)

This is great that we can send program change messages to control the patterns etc, on the KSP, but what about being able to send program change messages to our synths, hooked up to the KSP?  They aren't allowed through and get stuck at the controller, never to be passed along.

We really need a way to be able to send program change messages to our synths too!

Are you sure:
- Sending program changes on the Controller mode channel changes the projects. Don't work for me, is it the midi global midi channel specify in  the controller menu?

- Sending program changes on the track's midi channels changes the track's pattern. Work fine

Where can I find the complet midi implementation of the KSP?
