Title: Keyboard channel question

Hi there,

I am very new to Arturia, in fact I only purchased a MiniLab Mk2 yesterday. I am trying to go through each software set up one by one, starting with understanding the MIDI Control Centre. On the device settings page there is a keyboard channel drop down with 16 options. I am just not sure what this does. It was preset to channel 7, but I'm not really sure what this means and what would happen if I changed it? Most other demos seem to have it on channel 5 but I just have no idea.

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

Normally you will be best of using midi channel 1, but not allways. The keyboard Midi channel can be set on the Keylab MK2 controller.

I suggest you learn about midi.
