Title: No MIDI read, NO Sustain Pedal

It has been a difficult week.  I have my interface finally functioning after a weird crash.  Now No MIDI data is being read in my MIDI monitor.  2nd, ... My sustain pedal will not work.

 Being a pianist this is a biggy.   Thoughts?

Sorry to hear about your troubles.

Are you saying, that everything like midi notes and other controller data - except from your sustain pedal work, even if no data at all show in your midi monitor?
If so, then perhaps your midi monitor is'nt working, and you just need to set up your sustain pedal.

Which midi monitor on which OS?
In which applications are you trying to use the sustain pedal? Are you sure the pedal set up to work in the applications?

Have you tried to repair your OS, in case it has been damaged?
