I am recording via inputs 3/4
If the signal is too hot I get aweful clipping artefact via the left speaker output only. I am using main outputs not cue.
Why the asymmetry? Ex refund 0db does not cause the awe full sound in the right speaker but only the left one.
I have latest firmware etc

Hi, and welcome to the forum. what audio fuse do you have? I have not seen this on any of the audio fuse range. have you tried switching the cables round to see if there is a difference?
Also maybe do a factory reset may help.

This is for the standard audifuse (the cube shaped one)
Swapping cables simply transfers the issue to the other speaker - indicating this issue with with the audiofuse
nil effect from a factory reset - it still persists... The unit is brand new of course - power via both USB and external adaptor

OK I had time to do more testing and provide better feedback to the community
the issue does NOT seem to occur with inputs 1 and 2
the issue also does not occur in "standard' more - only in "full power" mode

This says to me its not the AF but the cable / signal if it jumps to the other side right?

Thanks for your interest Terrym
It’s not the cable. I believe what is happening is that inputs three and four have a DC offset. There is definitely some asymmetry with this reported by other users for example in this thread

I believe that applying a very hot signal to these inputs can exceed the maximum digital headroom and this occurs asymmetrically due to the DC offset previously described. This may explain why using it in standard mode instead of full power mode does not allow this issue to occur

Ok got it, but i do not see that here? There is a new Firmware coming soon Just testing it at the moment maybe this is why as some power management will change i think.

OK I look forward to testing the new firmware
