Title: connectivity Beatstep Pro and Roland TR-8

i used instructions as per Arturia - sync with roland din sync.
Betasten Pro as slave:
clock In/out setting 24ppqn
sync Midi socket of tr-8 out to the Beatstep Pro  clock input using the black
Din to jack adapter.
these instructions i believe are for the TR-707 not the TR-8
channel 10 on both units.
i have beatstep pro on drum seq #3 and the Tr-8 playing a drum beat.
beatstep pro on clock  ...... no visual or audio [ earphones in tr-8 ]
i can't find any connectivity info specific to Tr-8 ..... manuals / u-tube ?
any input or ideas greatly appreciated !

Hi.
When you connect your midi out in the arturia are you able to play the drums in control mode?
I have a tr08 I can trigger the drums in control mode but not on the sequencers
