Title: BPM Knob - Forwards is Backwards - What?
Post by: Virtualsamana on March 12, 2020, 07:51:32 pm
I have a problem with the BSP where if I turn the tempo knob slowly it will glitch. Sometimes values will jump forwards and sometimes they will actually jump backwards i.e. slowing the tempo when I am turning the knob right.

I love the BSP but this bug is super frustrating. It makes smooth tempo changes during a set all but impossible.

Anyone else experiencing this?  :'(

Yes, mine's been suffering from this for some time now.  I don't think it's a bug.  More likely a failing encoder.

My workaround is either not change tempo during a performance (yawn) or clock it from an external source.  For the latter, I prefer to use DIN Sync rather than MIDI Clock.  If you can't live with either of those approaches, contact Arturia to arrange a repair.
