Title: Earch large pad assigned to a separate MIDI Channel?

Does anyone have the BSP setup that way in the DAW?

16 larger pads set to channels 1-16, if so, does it translate to the step sequencer itself. I assume so.

Is this too cumbersome a method? For example, I suppose I could keep the Drum Sequencer for example set to one MIDI channel, and then later "Explode" the MIDI part to separate tracks for separate processing.

How do you work with MIDI in the Drum Sequencer, or do you only setup Audio?
