Title: HOW TO DISABLE MIDI FOR SEQUENCER
Post by: Devabhai on January 16, 2020, 12:49:23 pm
Hello everyone,,
My current setup is this:
Sequencer 1 -> hardware synth via CV
Drums -> Ableton Live drum kit using USB

However when entering notes into sequence 1, it will trigger drum hits in ableton through midi. This is not what I want, as the drum track is what's triggering the drums.snaptube.cam/ (https://snaptube.cam/) syncnet.onl/telegram-web/ (https://syncnet.onl/telegram-web/) 9apps (https://9apps.cam/)

Is there a way to disable these midi commands being sent from the sequencers? Or another solution?

Cheers,.

It sounds like you have the Midi input on your Ableton drum track set to "All Channels".

By default the sequencers output through channels 1 and 2 and the drum track is on channel 10.

Select channel 10 as your input channel in Ableton if you only wan't midi from the drum sequencer.
