Ability to remap pitchbend bar to any other function (like in modulation matrix). Additionally selectable behavior between "hold last touched position" and "return to set value" (not only return to neutral middle value but also any other value).
-
+1 to this.
Hold the Bend button for a second or two, the light starts blinking, you can then choose one parameter to assign by touching its knob.
Hold the button again to clear it.

I'd prefer a solution like this:
It would be great if the touch strip could be used as a mod-wheel.
Implementation suggestion:
-If you press the lit icon key (spice, dice or bend) all three lights go out and the touch strip functions as mod wheel
-When adjusting any matrix point while holding "Shift" you adjust not the normal matrix point amount, but a dedicated "Mod wheel amount".
-Mod wheel should send / receive cc01
-Utility-preset setting: MW always returns to 0 when releasing Touch strip OR MW remains at last held value when releasing finger
-Possibility to record the modwheel as one of the motion sequences????
If the CPU power is available for this, it would graetly expand the modulation possibilities, as well as the integration with external hardwarecontrollers. This way you could "morph" a whole preset, just by using the "mod wheel"

I was surprised that the bar (“Bendstrip”) couldn't be used as a Mod-Wheel or a Mod source via the Matrix!
One could argue that it would be a lot more useful than Pitch Bend.
Imagine the ability to change 4-5 parameters with the bar Live!
@tbn And the ability to record that in a Mod Sequence :o
Suggestion: maybe the Press line in the Mod Matrix could be used for the bar as well?

This would be brilliant! fingers crossed!

Having the strip as mod source would be great, although I don't see a "clean" way to implement this via physical controls. Maybe there could be an option in the patch menu to "swap" one the modulation sources. (E.g. "keys" would be completely replace by mod strip when you enable the setting.)
-
+1. this would be really really nice.
maybe when you press spice and dice at the same time (or hold dice and the press spice) both options would light up and the pitch bar would enter an a mode where it controls what was assigned to it in the matrix, via one of the assignable buttons?

yes please... Imagine controling of amp or Freq with the strip, that would be so sweet!
-
Also, please, have it work with the Sequencer. Having to program Glide for each note really gets in the way of the simplicity of the system.
-
+1 would be good but no idea how, as it's not a source on the matrix.
Something on the Utility->preset perhaps. In fact, I wonder if there's enough CPU to generate a separate tremolo/vibrato LFO coming from that menu?
If not, an assignment somehow.
Pressure to LFO depth is what's most often needed.

I posted a suggestion how to implement modwheel functionality for the touch strip a while ago in this threrad: https://forum.arturia.com/index.php?topic=94993.0
-If you press the lit icon key (spice, dice or bend) all three lights go out and the touch strip functions as mod wheel
-When adjusting any matrix point while holding "Shift" you adjust not the normal matrix point amount, but a dedicated "Mod wheel amount" for that specific matrix point.
-Mod wheel should send / receive cc01
-Utility-preset setting: MW always returns to 0 when releasing Touch strip OR MW remains at last held value when releasing finger
-Possibility to record the modwheel as one of the motion sequences????
This would enable comlex mrphing of one preset into another just by moving your finger on the touch strip and thereby changing all modulation points!

+1 >> Simultaneous multi-destination would be rad! ;D
