As written before... Arturia is ignoring BSP... they got other products/plans...
What would be good: they could release the code for people to optimize it and fix bugs!!!

another +1 also from me. It just costed me 2 hours analysis, why there is a clock loop, when the midi thru is off.

... nobody from Arturia chiming in here?

Sadly Arturia doesn't care about their product's firmware...
Or at least not for the legacy ones.
This is really sad...
Also never had any official Arturia feedback on this thread either...

another +1 on this - i have a beatstep and keystep and the clocks are clashing - please - more options on midi thru (without having to mute a channel), and clock output enable/disable

Hey Arturia!
Anybody listening at all to the voice in the forums?
Anybody wants to chime in and let us know the reason why MIDI clock output is not implemented?
Thanks,
F.

Just to add another request to be able to turn off the MIDI clock transmit, it would be really helpful when controlling other gear with built in sequencers (when I don't want to use them) and also remove a lot of data bouncing through my MIDI daisy chained gear when only the Beatstep is the one needing to keep time.
That's exactly my scenario!
+1 again here on this topic!

So there's still no way of disabling MIDI clock out, when the BSP is being a MIDI clock slave?

+1 to this. I feel like we still need another round of added options with the MIDI feature set. Like we need to be able to disable MIDI output for each sequencer while leaving it on for the drum pattern, or vice versa. These features are useful but they are a hindrance when we're unable to turn them off.

Yes, this (disabling Midi Clock Out) would be really useful for exactly the reasons mentioned by @mnemosequential above. I was wondering why some devices connected to my midi merge-thru were running double speed - turned out the BeatStep Pro was also sending clock and screwing everything up, and I couldn't turn it off.

It would be amazing to have an option in the MCC to toggle On or Off sending MIDI Clock through the MIDI output, having then only the MIDI note-related info coming through.
This would allow to reinject the out from BSP into a merge box/patchbay where there is already a clock signal present without creating huge issues of clocking and so allow for much more flexible MIDI routing.

Right now the only way to split the BSP MIDI output is to have a dedicated splitter just for the BSP, to be able to just reinject the sequencers' output in the MIDI chain would be very useful but only possible if there is no clock data present.

That, and/or proper MIDI Thru capabilities. To have the MIDI out send through the data present on the MIDI channels unused by the BSP.

Would make an amazing tool even greater!
