Title: MOD wheel problem
Post by: phk on May 31, 2013, 07:21:32 pm
Hi

Just received my second Minibrute today, first one had the "raised middle C key" -problem and this one seems to have another problem...  :(

The MOD-wheel seems to be faulty.

It first kicks in when at appx. 25% and with full power.

The dump from MIDI monitor below confirms this (I moved then wheel from 0 -100% and back a few times).
Edit: I upgraded the FW to 1.0.2.1 but that didn't help.

The mod wheel on my minibrute starts to come in at about the 25% mark. Also I have to be very careful if I want just a little bit of modulation. Hopefully one of the Mods will chip in and put your mind at rest.

Thanks for your reply  :)

I'm returning the synth, the wheel simply works as an on/off switch which it shouldn't.

See further down.

Thanks!

Problem solved by calibrating the wheel.

Now fully enjoying my new synth  8)
