Title: cv input to vco1 pitch
Post by: droolmaster0 on March 23, 2017, 04:53:11 pm
When I send the output from an analog sequencer into this jack, it controls the pitch of osc 1 and osc 2, but not osc 3. osc3 pitch just remains static. Is there any way of getting it to follow along, or even modulate the pitch separately?

Yep ... there is ... you have to use one of the four free modulation destination (13-16) on the matrix. Then every other mod-source can be routed to VCO3 and used there  :)

ah yes. of course. Sorry for the basic questions - just got this yesterday. I think that I will be using those user modulations on every patch....

it doesn't look like you can route the cv input there, though. So I'll be able to do an independent modulation there, but not extend the cv into pitch 1 to pitch 3.  Well, I'll try this all later.

it does seem like a strange omission to not allow the cv in to modulate all of the oscillators. Maybe people like it this way.

There might be a workaround ... the matrix can be used creatively.

What I miss is an external neutral cv input, which is simply routed to the matrix.
