Title: Analog Factory is not working with Cubase 6 (64Bit)
Post by: Henning on March 30, 2011, 06:12:03 pm
I'm using Win 7 64 Bit (Sp 1), the processor is an Intel Core i7, RAM 4 GB.

When I'm using the AF as standalone it works fine. I tried to load AF into Cubase 6 (64 Bit) as VSTi, the AF Pop-up window show "Initalize miniMg V presets", but nothing happens. When I kill the VSTiBridge with the task manager I can work with CB6, but there is a warning, that VSTi is not available. I tried this also with admin privileges, the same problem.

Best regards from Hamburg,
Henning

Hi Henning,

Our virtual instruments are 32-bit compiled only, therefore can run in standalone mode on top of 64-bit OSes, but won't run in 64-bit host sequencers, however they can run in 32-bit compatible mode (like Logic).

Please install a 32-bit version of your sequencer for full compatibility with our instruments.

We are currently developing 64-bit versions, but I have no release date to offer yet.

Feel free to come back to me if I can be any further technical assistance.
Yours musically,

Antoine.

Hi Henning,

Porting the Analog Factory to 64-bit mean having previously ported all our synth line to 64-bit, so unfortunately it sounds like it will be in the last batch of 64-bit updates.

Sorry not to bee much more accurate. :/

Have a nice weekend,

Antoine.
